CCS/CC2540: How do I receive Notify data from UART of CC2540?

Hello there,

I use a Embedded CPU through the USB to connect the UART of CC2540 , then connect to a BLE Door Lock.
After write characteristic to the BLE Door Lock, the BLE Door Lock will pass data back through Notify.
But I can't receive data from UART of CC2540.

The CC2540 SDK version is V1.4.1.43908b.
Use HostTest project.

How do I receive Notify data from UART of CC2540?

What does the HostTest project need to modify?

Hi Joy,

I don't understand your question. Are you able to communicate with the device at all through UART?

Are you using BTool to communicate with it?

Yes. I can connect and write characteristic to the BLE Door Lock.
I try it by using both BTool and my embedded f/w code.

Hi Joy,

Did you subscribe to notifications from the peer device (i.e. write to the Characteristic Configuration of the rleevant characteristic)?

After subscribe to notifications from the peer device (i.e. write to the Characteristic Configuration of the relevant characteristic),

I can receive Notify data now.
