Hello Ti Team,

I have a question with TIDA-01580 Wearable device firmware. I have looked into "TIDA-01580_firmware_tx" code in CCS.

My question is, this code sends the "ppg, ecg, ppgRed, ppgIR" raw value or actual of blood pressure and heart rate data?

Can we consider and display "ppg, ecg, ppgRed, ppgIR" data on LCD as heart rate and blood pressure? Or do we need to implement algorithm to calculate HR and BP?

If not then is there and algorithm available to calculate the HR and BP value and display on LCD?

Any help will be appreciated.

Hello Mahesh,
Did you read the design guide on the product page? It states:
"The raw data is available for the user to calculate heart rate, oxygen concentration in blood (SpO2), pulse-transit time (PTT), and ECG.

There are also some formulas in that document that can be used to create your own algorithms. I don't think we have any ready made algorithms. This would typically be presented and implemented on a smart phone, tablet or other GATT client with display.

Which AFE is good for collecting data from SFH7072 optical sensor? AFE4404 or AFE4900?

I see somewhere SFH7072 interfaced with AFE4404 and somewhere AFE4900.

Could you please suggest me which one is more accurate to collect the data?

Hi Mahesh,

Thank you for your interest in TIDA-01580. I would suggest that AFE4900 is more suitable for SFH7072 since it is designed in common-anode configuration.
