Currently using CC2650MODAMOHT module in our project. we are planning to not use a module and use a chip by itself. so we needed more information on whats inside this module. components used.

Ashwin,

The module contains the RF portions of the CC2650 LP, that is the main SoC + 2 XTALS and RF matching components. There reference design is found here:

Thanks for the valuable information provided.

our product needs to be assessed for intrinsic safety. so we would be requiring a full BOM for the module including component parts.

please guide us to get this information.

As I understand it you are not going to use the CC2650MODAMOHT but make your own board. Why do you need the full BOM for the module then since you are going to design a board yourself?

Thanks for the reply.
we have not decided yet to go with the module or make our own board. even if we go with the module, we will have to know the BOM for assessing the intrinsic safety certification.

could you also guide us for the following information

Is the module gas tight, if so to what pressure? (If not, then we need surface areas of the internal bits that gas can get to.)
Are there any inductors or capacitors in the module?
Is there any voltage enhancement circuitry in the module?

- no, the module has vents on the side.
Are there any inductors or capacitors in the module?
- yes, the largest capacitor is the one from our reference design (10uF), yes on inductors, the same as our reference design.
Is there any voltage enhancement circuitry in the module?
- no, we only have a DCDC converter in the buck mode. It can only generate lower voltages.

We would be able to send you the exact module schematic but you will need to go thru TI sales channels.
