Hi Team,

If there has no external 24MHz crystal on the CC2640R2F, the boot loader still able to work or not?

From my understanding the 24 MHz xtal oscillator is only started/ needed for the RF core meaning that the bootloader should be able to run without. What is the use case since normally you have 24 MHz xtal since you want to use the RF?

Customer used 1.8V for VDD and IO, and sending 0x55 command to CC2640R2F, but didn't get any response from CC2640R2F, unable to make bootloader working, 24MHZ crystal is 10pF load, so wondering if no 24MHz crystal does this still can work?

If the device has a jtag interface it's easy to see if it works by uploading an example and running it.

If they don't get a reply from the device, have they used the correct pins and the protocol described in www.ti.com/.../swra466a.pdf
