CCS/CC2652R: Different version of CCS running on same pc.

Hi,

I have been using CCS 6.2 for development work on CC2650 series controller. I have ordered CC2652 Launchpad to explore new device's capability. Now CC2652 requires CCS version 7 & above and I don't want to remove CCS 6.2 (want to keep 6.2 for 2650 and newer one for latest series). My question is can I have two CCS version running on same PC and not interfere with each other's setting ? I am not going to use both of them simultaneously but want to have old one before I get familiarize myself with new one.

Yes, it’s OK to have different version CCS installed on the same PC.

Cool. So I can use CCS 6.2 for 2650 and use CCS 8 for 2652 without they interfering with each other. Cool this solves my problem.

I have different version CCS installed on my desktop and I see no problem on my projects.
