Bluetooth SIG is deprecating pre-4.2 versions from January 2019.

I have 2 questions:

Are CC2564 and CC2564B dual mode controllers designed to support Bluetooth version v4.2 ?
If answer to Question 1 is yes, does TI have any plans to re-certify controllers to v4.2 ?

Hello,

The CC2564C can support BT Version 4.2 - only when it is coupled with TI Bluetooth stack.
There are plans to re-certify some of the older CC2564 controllers - however not the oldest ones.
