Both using second cc26x2 board for OAD, I didnt found any app example implements OAD only the old chip.

Is there OAD android app example for sdk 2.1 for cc26x2 ?

the apps with OAD are for the cc26x0 chips. or i'm just understanding it wrong, and the chip does not matter because its the same OAD protocol?

Hi Netanel,

Which device did you want to use? The CC26X2R1 and CC26X0 are different devices. It would be helpful to know which one you are using so I can find better examples for you.

The first link is supposed to work the CC1352R1 or any CC26X2R1 devices. The second link is for any CC26X2R1 device running BLE5. The OAD protocol is standardized based on which version of BLE you are using, not the chip.

If you are planning on using the CC26X0, there are CC26x0 examples using OAD in the SDK under [CC26XX_SDK_INSTALL_Dir]/examples/rtos/CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL/blestack.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I'm using CC26X2R1, I'm searching for ANDROID APP that preform the OTA procedure.

The links are guides that show how to preform OTA via launchpads.

Hi Netanel,

You can try looking at this example git.ti.com/simplelink-ble-oad-android . TI only supports our chips which is why most of our guides are focused on using the launchpads.

Thanks, I didnt had the time to check the git yet, but there is a GREAT TI app (ti simplelink starter) for android and it's have a great OAD option and also a great tool for BLE testing.
