we do not understand your assertion of the magnetic fringing re lines appear longer when copying the referencing design versus new design of new stacking. Also your explanation that the packaging and chips are included in the S parameters measurements. Also please explain how do you arrive to the 50 ohms large trace connected to SMA section 7.

    AN068 is not well written and is a bit confusing. Instead of going into details in the app note: Could you explain a bit what you want to do since you are looking at this app note? Based on this information it will be easier to guide you.
