The optimal load impedance is listed in the datasheet. We highly recommend following the reference design layout and component values for proper operation.

Hi Hank,

As I said, the optimum load impedance value is listed in the datasheet. This is the impedance at 2.4 GHz measured into the reference design balun.

Follow the reference design. As long as the balun is placed close to the CC2540 the trace dimensions are not critical.
