CC1352P: BLE RF Performance Test CAN NOT Output Exactly Tx Power By HCI Commands

Part Number: CC1352P

Hi TI Partners,

We encountered a problem that regarding CC1352P Tx Power.

The CC1352P LaunchPad can not output Tx Power correctly by HCI Commands Anritsu 8852B issuedand Its Tx Power is just around -12~ -16 dBm.

Therefore, we planned a test to clarify this issue that occurred from H/W or S/W.

Please check our environment & Test Steps as below:

H/W : CC1352P LaunchPad

S/W : simplelink_cc13x2_sdk_2_20_00_71

SDK Project : CC1352P1_LAUNCHXL / ble5stack / host_test, CC1352P1_LAUNCHXL / ble5stack / simple_peripheral

BTool Ver. : 1.42.08

HCI Command : HCI_LE_Transmitter_Test

1. Using BTool to order "HCI_LE_Transmitter_Test "

2. Checking RF Spectrum to find the maximum Tx tone, and the power shows that around -12~ -16 dBm

3. For Duble Sure that we tried to use the project "SimplePeripheral" to compare with. its Tx Power output is correct

In addition, we also used "SmartRF Studio" to check that, its Tx Output is also correct such as "SimplePeripheral".

Let me sum up, this issue seems not occurred by H/W but it from S/W.

we guess the library of HCI Commands which has something wrong with.

Did you guys have any idea to deal with?

Many Thanks.
