CC2650: How can I write Project Zero of MSP432P401R + BOOSTXL - CC2650 using the clould tools?

Hello,

With the combination of BOOSTXL-CC2650MA and MSP432P401R,
how to write project zero using cloud tools?

In the resource explorer's SimpleLink BLE plug-in, there is project zero using MSP432P401R.

Software -> SimpleLink SDK Plug-in -> Examples -> Development Tools -> MSP432P401R Launchpad - Red 2.x(Red)
-> Bluetooth -> project zero -> TI-RTOS -> CCS Compiler -> project_zero

But this project zero project imported the CC2640R2 image source.
I can not replace it because CC2650's image source can not be found anywhere in the resource explorer looking for it.

The way to think about is as follows, is there a better way?

Download and install SimpleLink BLE plug-in and import CC2650's image to CCS Cloud.
or
Write using SmartRF programmer 2, and do not press firmware update.

Hi Da,

The CC2640R2 or the CC2650 can be used. You need to make sure that either device has the simple_np flashed.

I will change my question.

When using MSP-EXP432P401R + BOOSTXL-CC2650MA.

1: Can I get a HEX file for CC2650 from Cloud's Resource Explorer?

2: Is there a way to write that HEX file using CCS Cloud?

If possible, I would like to complete the work with only the cloud tool.

Hi Da,

If you have the hex file for the CC2650 that's talked about in the links i previously provided, you can use uniflash provided in dev.ti.com to flash the CC2650. You should follow the instructions that are in the links i provided earlier to do so.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of a way to use just use CCS Cloud to get the hex. You will need to download the BLE Stack 2.2.2 provided here to get the hex. www.ti.com/.../BLE-STACK

Why are you adverse to downloading anything?

Thank you for answering.

It is not important that the HEX file can be written.
I wanted to be able to update the firmware (BLE stack) of BOOSTXL-CC2650MA with only the cloud tool.

I can not do that with the current cloud tool, so I asked a question.

As I know, CCS cloud doesn’t support such hex upload/ download capability. You have to use either Flash Programmer 2 or Uniflash to program your CC2650.
