CC2540 Flash Memory Power

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2540

The CC2540 datasheet (or User Guide) does not specify the power required to read, erase, or write Flash memory or give values for the time required for various operations or specify any voltage related constrainsts such as the time for operations at 2.2 V versus for 3.3 V.  Where is this information listed?

  • Sorry for the late response -  hopefully this response from one of out chip guys helps. Let us know if you need more information.

"I don’t know the detailed timing and current consumption numbers, but I do know that the flash sits on the regulated 1.8V supply. Neither the current consumption nor the timing is therefore dependent on the supply (battery) voltage. The power consumption, on the other hand, would be proportional to supply voltage, as it is for anything that has constant current consumption."
