Hi,

I connect CC2640R2F with custom Android app,, most of the time the connection fails, and sniffing Android size I see:

onConnectionStateChange - status: 133 - new state: 0

if I put a breakpoint I see a GAP_MSG_EVENT with opcode 261 (or 0x105), I can not find GAP message with this opcode, and I would expect a GAP_LINK_ESTABLISHED_EVENT (opcode 0x05).

Someone can tell me what is opcode 261 associated with?

Hi Guiseppe,

The GAP opcodes are defined in gap.h. There is no opcode 0x105. Can you post the sniffer log?

Sorry, I have not a sniffer, attached the screenshots of breakpoints. First the opcode 261, the second opcode 6 that it should be GAP_LINK_TERMINATED_EVENT.

Hi,
when I add code and so I increase the memory occupation, it seems to me that the device doesn't connect .
I would like to know if it is my suggestion or for same reason do I overraid part of the memory dedicate to the connection?

Hi,
sorry but the problem seems to be in the declaration of some variable. If I declare them global the connection is ok otherwise if I declare them inside of function the device doesn't connect, but I don't know why it is happen.

Hi Guiseppe,

It sounds like this could be a context issue. Are you sure all needed variables are available for all necessary functions?

YOu should also check the task stacks and the heap when this happens.

Hi Guiseppe,

I think the opcode displayed is not the actual value. Can you set the optimization for that function to zero and re-run the experiment? You can find information about setting the optimization in the User's Guide.
