Specifically, the BLE Custom Profile has a code generator you can use to generate basic Service and Characteristics.

Thank you for the reply. I did go through the code generator and get some helpful code and used it with the TI BLE stack and got some stuff working with my CC2650 launchpad.
But simple link academy also has a lab tutorial on Bluetooth developer studio. So I would like to use that with the TI plugin to generate my own custom service. Is that tutorial redundant now?
It also mentions in the code generator that the it is a light version of the plugin for Bluetooth developer studio. So I would like to use the plugin and BDS.

I am of course assuming that BDS with the TI plugin has much more functionality and resources to play with for a developer. Correct me if I am wrong :)

The service generator worked pretty well, but I am looking to expand beyond that.
