CC2650MODA: BLE 5.0 certification

Hello,

I believe CC2650MODA has an RF-PHY certification for BLE 4.2 (link). Do we have any plan to certify it for BLE 5.0? I have a customer interested in the increased RF link budget enabled by the BT5 coded PHYs.

Hi,

CC2650 can't run BT 5 specific features. You will have to use CC2640r2 or CC26x2/CC13x2 to run code phy and other BT 5 features.

Thank you for the quick reply. Do we plan to offer CC2640R2F-based BLE modules, or should I point my customer to our 3rd parties (link)?

We don't have plan for CC2640R2F based BLE module. You can point your customer to our 3rd parties.
