Hi,

we are currently running a cc2640 configured with SPI and I2C, the device works properly(Bluetooth and all), but when we try to add another SPI(only the structure without the open), the Bluetooth characteristics discovery stops in the middle and we get an "insufficient resources" error,

any ideas why this happens ?

What are the limits of the cc2640?

Hi Jameel,

I would assume you are running out of SRAM by the sound of it. Could you compare much free SRAM do you have in your application before and after adding the extra SPI section (use hte .map file for this)?

If that is the case, you can have a look at the BLE User Guide to see how to enable "CACHE AS RAM". This would give you some additional SRAM at a cost of performance and power consumption (as we disable the cache and turn on retention).
