CC2640R2F: cc2640 custom board reset problem.

A typical issue in cases like this is that having a XDS110 connected prevents the CC2640R2 to go to standby. So based on what you write it could sound like this does not work as it should.

- Do you have a 32 kHz xtal mounted and if not is it set up correctly in the CCFG file?
- Any reason why you are using an old CCS version? The newest SDKs for CC2640R2 require CCS 8.

yes, i have a 32khz xtal mounted. this problem is not present on the CC2640r2f Launchpad when doing a reset, but on the custom board
this problem is present.

i have the CCS8.2 installed, but the JTAG dont works perfectlly on it, with the CCS7 i dont have such a problem, i have
posted a topic related to this on the CCS forum.

Have you tried to run the pinstandby and set LEDs/ IOs to see if you actually are in standby or not?

i have tested with pinstandby.

as you can see in the picture , i have set the initial led output to high.

after starting with debug command, the program works, every 5s the led output changes.

stoping debug, the program still working. after asserting reset button in the launchpad board, the program goes until line72 , and never

get back from sleep ( the leds still on ).

i tried with Task_sleep function and the result is the sam.

so why it works in the cc2640 launchpad ?

What is the difference between your board and the LP? As said it sounds like the 32 kHz clock doesn't start.
