RTOS/LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: DAC with LaunchPad Sample?

I would like to manipulate the voltage output from one of my pins on my launchpad. It by default outputs 3.3V when GPIO is set to high. I would like analog control such that I can change that to a lower voltage if necessary. I know that this processor has DAC capabilities. Is there any sample code that can help me get started?

I know CC26XX has ADC not DAC.

According to the datasheet linked, it's mentioned that it has two reference comparators that use the internal DAC. Isnt this basically what I need to do?

So what exactly does this suggest then? If I want to manipulate the voltage out of the pins, the only way to do it would be through external hardware?

Yes, I think you need to use external HW.
