Linux/CC2640: BLE Driver for Linux

Hi all,

I am using CC2640 for making BLE connections between existed MCU and other peripherals. I tried using host test project and proper communication is happening between MCU and CC2640 over UART.

I have few questions.

1. Is there any ready made BLE driver available in Linux, so that i can make use of it and write an application on top of it.

2. Is there any ready made BLE apps in linux for testing purpose.

3. Is it possible to connect Mobile phones with CC2640 over BLE . (Not through any app).

Note: Tried to switch on Bluetooth in my iPhone (BT 4.2, LE supported), and this device is not showing in scanned devices list of CC2640.

Could you please help me.

The phone acts as central devices, so you will need an app to change it's role, so it can advertise. This SLA tasks explains how to use your device as peripheral. dev.ti.com/.../ble_02_sec_basics.html

It helped me a lot. I tried with BLE apps in mobile and created a virtual peripheral to advertise data. Now its working fine.
