Hiii,

my friend worked on cc2640 project zero he gave me that project files i have version of v8 he did in v7 so when i compile i got errors then i installed v7 i have not got errors but its ot showing output but when my friend flashs it working good can any one say me sol of this?

Unfortunately, you can't open a ccs project using a different version of CCS.
Please download the version your friend started with.

hi christin,

i have downloded v7 also in that devices in resorce manager is not opening the project files not showing any output.

Make sure the compiler version is the same.

I assume you are using latest SDK then you can find the compiler version in the release note.

simplelink academy version 1.4.2? Where do you read this version? If you use CC2640/CC2650, I suppose the latest simplelink academy is v1.11 whch can be downloaded from software-dl.ti.com/.../overview.html

sorry that was a wrong type i need v1.14.2.04 version i got building error like this.

'com.ti.SIMPLELINK_ACADEMY_CC2640R2SDK' v1.14.2.04 is not currently installed and no compatible version is available. Please install this product or a compatible version.

Do you use CC2640R2? If so, you should refer to latest SimpleLink Academy 2.30.02 for CC2640R2 at dev.ti.com/.../

if i use the latest SimpleLink Academy 2.30.02 for CC2640R2 its showing me building error, this is the problem im facing now. i need a solution for this.

I use CCS8.2 and latest CC2640R2 SDK 2.30.00.28/SimpleLink Academy 2.30.02. I don't have any issue to build examples in those combination. if you use CC2640R2F, I suggest you to remove whatever you had installed and resintall the version I show you to test again.

Are you still trying to build your friend's project? Is the error msg from your friend's project?

In order for that to work, you should also download the corresponding SDK:

i cleared the compiler issue and the SLD version issue then i got this type of error

What I would recommend you to follow your friend's folder placement, ask him what SDK version is needed.
