We are developing a bluetooth gateway that listents to some boradcasting devices (and connects to them sometimes). Right now we are using the cc2640 in the gateway, but the advertising reception range is not enough, we need to improve the range to be able to "catch" more advertisements. We are thinking in using the CC2592, we know it amplifies the TX signal but we are asking if it will improve the reception side or if there is another option to improve the range at which we can ctach more advertisments and be able to connect to other devices.
Note: the "other devices" are very power constrain and cannot be changed in any shape or form.
