CCS/CC2640R2F: Pairing fail

Hi everyone,

I'm using sdk_1_50_00_58, running BLE 4.2 peripheral device

I do the pairing in JUST WORK, most of the time, the pairing work fine, sometime it takes very long time and pairing fail.

Here is the sniffer record, I find that my device response the key very slow, it takes 7 seconds for random and DHKey...

Is there any way to improve , thank you!

Hi David,

Is the device that responds with the pairing failure a master or slave? Is the TI device the master or slave?

Do you see this failure with SDK 2.30?

EDIT: didn't mean to check TI thinks resolved.

The device is slave, I pair to Samsung Tab A tablet,which is Android 8.

I didn’t try new SDK yet. So this is the problem in Sdk 1.50?

There are a number of issues, that may or may not have been related to what you see that have been fixed between 1.50 and what we are currently on 2.30. That is our first line of questions for issues like this, is to verify that users do or do not see the issue with the latest software. Please test with 2.30 and see if you still see issues.
