CC2650MODA: TI BLE Module Pre-certified for China?

Hello,

we'd like to use TI CC2650MODA in our application.

Our customer wants to sell his product world-wide, also in China (PROC).

In the datasheet of CC2650MODA TI claims it's "Pre-certified for Compliance With Worldwide Radio Frequency Regulations", but you don't list PROC, ROC for example.

Does this mean we can't use this module in China? Would there be a huge expense if we want to certifie CC2650MODA in China, or are there other possibilities to use CC2650MODA in China?

    Hi,

    CC2650MODA is pre-certified for

    – ETSI RED (Europe)
    – IC (Canada)
    – FCC (USA)
    – ARIB STD-T66 (Japan)
    – JATE (Japan)

    For China, their requirements are usually very similar to ETSI or FCC. Using the module in China should not be a problem but you will have to pass the Chinese regulations with an official test house. There is always a discussion with the test house, which tests need to be redone.
