CC2541: Query on RTOS and BLE

I have few questions regarding RTOS and Bluetooth modules.

1. What is the RTOS present in the CC2541, CC2650 and other TI Bluetooth modules with ARM and 8051 architectures.

2. Can i able to implement my own RTOS on Bluetooth modules(ARM,8051) and how can I?

3. Can I implement RTOS on MSP430G2553, becuase i heard that MSP430F5529 will support RTOS ?

1. CC2541 BLE stack is based on a Tiny OS which is not RTOS and CC26xx BLE stack is based on TI RTOS.
2. To use BLE Stack, you cannot use your own RTOS.
3. I suppose it should be OK

Hey Yikai chen

Thanking you for answering my queries everytime. What Does tiny OS mean? is that user defined OS for small applications?
2.what else we need to create own RTOS and implement on MSP430G2553?
3.Why cant our own RTOS support BLE stack?

1. Tiny OS is provided by TI for running different BLE and application tasks.
2. Since you intend to create/implement your own RTOS on MSP430G2553, I suppose you have to study and do it by yourself.
3. Becasue TI doesn't support it.

I will look ahead at 2 and study about RTOS and try to implement.
So Tiny OS is different from RTOS, is there any similarities between RTOS and Tiny OS, or completely different?

Could you give a short description on the background for the question? Why do you want to create your own RTOS?

Just simply for learning purpose, to learn in depth on RTOS.

If you just try to lean in depth on RTOS, you can refer to training.ti.com/ti-rtos-workshop-series-1-10-welcome. Or, you can use a generic purpose MCU to implement RTOS by yourself (I know github.com/.../mini-arm-os is a good reference or you can also refer to free RTOS)
