Hello, I can't understand that problem: it became a disaster for 2 weeks, I was trying to understand why the compiler gives me strange errors.

I've tried to change XDCTOOLS and other Libraries but it wouldn't work at all: same problem.

When I install ble_zero project CCS suggests me to install the LASTEST XDCTOOLS and after extraction it shows me the message of uncompatible OS.

I've using Windows 10 in Russian Language.

I've tried a different examples and several times, I've reinstalled CCS 3 times with cleaning the registry and reinstalling everything again.

Plus, I've discovered that last XDCTOOLS doesn't install on my PC after import with ble_zero project, just Shows the error message

" Incompatible OS ".

Additionally, when I built project_zero, I didn't see the 'extra' directory (see below) when importing from Resource Explorer.

What're the steps you are following to import this project to CCS, so that I may reproduce the issue?

By steps:

1)install CCS

2)Goto project explorer and wait for a while

3)select in the left corner menu the boord-launchpad cc2640r2...

4)then software cc2640 simple link sdk v 2.20.00.49 or the fresh one

5)examples->dev tools->launchpad->blestack->project_zero->ccs

6)in the right corner download and install

7)wait until it tells you that you have got incompatible OS

I've tried manually install: put into directory the whole folder of XDCTOOLS and it didn't make any change.

Hey Daud,

Can you see the XDCtools under Window>Preferences, then under Code Composer Studio>Products? Please make sure the install directory is inside the TI folder (C:/ti).

Have you tried reinstalling the SDK?

I've tried to reinstall everything 5 times and it gets stuck in the same error. So, no changes after full reinstall with registry clean and so on.

I just imported project zero at CCSv8.2 and did not encounter any problems. I suggest you re-post this at CCS forum for more expert advice.
