RTOS/CC2640: Avoid Data Length Update when doing GAPCentralRole_EstablishLink

Hi all.

Due to latency reasons I want to avoid as much BLE as possible.

Is it possible to avoid the data length update exchange somehow?

Hi Michael,

The MTU exchange is associated with the data length extension feature, so if this feature is disabled on both devices you will not do this exchange.

Thanks for the fast response.
Well, I'm not doing a MTU exchange, the size of default value is big enough. But the data length extension on the link layer is still triggered from the TI side. On my sniffer I don't see any MTU exchanges, but the data length update is visible.

Hi Michael,

Can you double-check that the DLE feature is disabled on your devices? Please see the DLE section of the BLE-Stack User's Guide: dev.ti.com/.../link-layer-cc2640.html
