Yes. You can use any antenna that can be matched to 50 ohm on the 2.4 GHz band with CC2640R2F.

The efficiency of an antenna is typically a function of size. Hence the inverted F will be more effective and cheaper than the chip antenna. A chip antenna should be used if the space is constricted and you can't fit a PCB type of antenna.
