Hi Cary Wang,

Could you be more specific on what "RF control commands" you are referring to? If you are thinking of BLE commands, they should be the same.

Dear M-w:
The instrument simulates the test of Packet TX（ or Packet RX） of CC2640 in SmartRF Studio 7 .
We want to confirm whether the command is same.
If the same, we can use current instrument to test CC2640R2F.

Hi Cary,

The RF Driver is the same on API level, so it should be no issues reusing the code in this case.
You would need to generate new RF Settings (using SmartRF Studio) for the new device and use them instead of the ones for CC2640.
