Hello,

I am starting a new peripheral role BLE app on the CC2650MODA.

What is the best application framework to start from : the CC2650 Project Zero or the Simple Peripheral Exemple ?

Hello Fredric,
We usually recommend to use simple_peripheral as a starting point for new developments of a peripheral role. Then you can cherry pick functionality from project zero or any other example project.

Thanks alot for the advice.

Which version should I choose ? The version in the Tirex under CC21640R2 LaunchPad or the one provided with the BLE SDK 2.2.2 ?

I saw that there is an onchip oad and an offchip oad version of the simple_peripheral application. What is the difference between the two ?

Hi Frederic,
For the CC2650, you will need to use BLE SDK 2.2.2. On-chip OAD is using a split image architecture while off-chip is using external flash in the launchpad. The user guide explains this well.
