    Hi Hansjoerg,

    There is no update as of now. BLE Mesh is still in an early stage and a very simple mesh solution. We recommend using more mature mesh protocols with better performance such as Zigbee and Thread, or alternatively consider a star network running sub-1 Ghz (15.4 Stack). With DMM it is still possible to easily enable BLE connectivity into the network.

    I am not sure star network is comparable as mesh is able to reach points that have no direct connection, but can be reached with hops. I think the self healing ability makes mesh very attractive / robust. Also low power, "friend" and proxy function sounds interesting.
