CC2541

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2541

1. What are the conditions of mode1>>active, mode 2->avtive, mode 3->avtived of CC2541?

2. What is the current of mode1, mode2 and mode3?

3. Is there a strict requirement for the power supply of the CC2541? The voltage range in the data sheet is relatively wide, 2-3.6V?

  • 1. You can refer to chapter 4 in www.ti.com/.../swru191f.pdf
    2. The current consumption of different modes are specified in CC2541 data sheet.
    3. I suggest not less than 2.4V.
  • Hi Meng,
Please see the user's guide/datasheet for the part and the peripheral driver software examples here( for setting sleep modes and conditions):
    www.ti.com/.../getliterature.tsp

The power supply can be anywhere between 2 to 3.6V . Also see absolute maximum ratings table in datasheet.
    Regards..
  • Hi,

For Q1 and Q2: please refer to Electrical Characteristics Table (Icore Current Consumption) on Page-4 and also General Characteristics Table on Page-5 of the CC2541 Data sheet.

For Q3: The chip has a Built-in Voltage Regulator, so it can work in the Power Supply range from 2 V thru 3.6V. Typically we use 3V for our EVMs.

Please refer to the Test Plots on Page-21 of the data sheet for PS Voltage Versus Current characteristics.

The following is the Link to the data sheet.

    Thanks,
