We are developing an application using BLE5 on the CC2640R2F and will begin testing using the LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 launchpad. However, I am confused as to what is the most up-to-date BLE-SDK and associated documentation?
Currently, my CCS 8 IDE is reporting that the latest SimpleLink CC2640R2 SDK is v2.30.00.28 is outdated, however the site (http://www.ti.com/tool/simplelink-cc2640r2-sdk) states that V2.40.00.XX is the newest for the CC2640R2 (which I assume is same as CC2640R2F). Am I missing something?
Regarding user guides, I have found multiple links with no idea which is the newest:
