CCS/CC2640R2F: 4Mbps or higher speed support

I am not sure whether the CC2640R2 can support 4Mbps or higher speed (in HS mode or BLE)?

I read the link below about the example rfPacketErrorRate and it does mention the support but I cannot find the relevant parts in the example.

Bluetooth low energy only supports up to 2Mbps in BT5.

Instead of BLE5, does the CCC2640R2 support any proprietary mode like HSM just like CC1310? I have ever used CC1310 with HSM of 4Mbps before.

Thanks. I am clear. But something I am curious is about the mention of max throughput in your company's product search page (see the screen capture below). It does mention the cc2640r2f can support max 5Mbps, maybe by proprietary protocol. This is why I ask for the speed support.

If it is true, maybe it does not open yet and the module can support this higher speed in the future?

I just found the similar issue in this community as below, where 5Mbps support seems possible. But there were some problems to run the high speed code in the cc2640r2 launchpad and the code was provided by TI application engineer.

Hi Terry,
I see the confusion. While the radio is fully capable of doing 5 Mbps, as part of the CC26xx series, the CC2640R2 device is specifically configured as a pure Bluetooth low energy device with BLE-Stack in ROM. This is why you will not see any non-BLE radio modes in the datasheet.

This being said, i'll reach out to the marketing team to update the (incorrect) information on ti.com.

Thank you for this info. I understand now.

As we've already ordered a few cc2640r2f launchpad for development, it's a bit surprised to me for the unsupport 5Mbps by the latest SDK. As I mentioned earlier, there seems some people in the TI commutiry to successfully use the proprietary mode for the 5Mbps support.

As an alternative to this, I wonder whether we can have some sample codes for the 5Mbps evaluation? Or we should contact our local TI FAE for this purpose?
