CC2541: Issue with BTool with CC2541

Hello,

I am trying to connect BTool to SmartRF05 Rev. 1.8.1 using CC2541 daughter board. But its not connecting. Port is not detected.

I flashed below binary and able to see “HostTestApp All” in SmartRF LCD.

C:\Texas Instruments\BLE-CC254x-1.4.2.2\Accessories\HexFiles\CC2541_SmartRF_HostTestRelease_All.hex

Even I uninstalled and re-installed BTool. But I am not able to connect. Are there any jumper settings on SmartRF05 board.

Also I tried with CC2541 SensorTag. Still its failing. I am getting below error.

Hi Vishnu,
Could you please check that your serial port initialises correctly and that you have the right driver installer for it?

Also, if I remember correctly, the SmartRF05 needs to use an RS323 cable and there is a switch on the board to enable it.

Make sure RS232 enable switch on SmartRF05 is set to enable.
