CC2650: Broken link referred to in CC2650 User Guide

Could you please post the link to the document you are referring to.

I'm trying to find out if that page has been removed on purpose or if it's an error.

Is it something specific are are looking for on that page?

I can access to the link without problem. Try to clear your browser cache and history.

This link has remained inaccessible even after clearing my cache...

I would really like access to all of it, but most recently it is the "full gatt table" information (which I was previously able to access).

The web page is probably not going to be restored since we want to lead customers to either CC2640R2 which has a much more up to date software offering or CC26x2 with more flash. But we will try to make some of the information available through other pages.

Could you give me a link to the pages that you have seen with the broken link that would be of help so we can change the link.

There is a course on Lynda.com, called IOS Core Bluetooth for Developers which relies on the viewer being able to access the teardown at the bottom of the Sensor Link page (this course is the only reason I bought the device). The notes I made in January while watching refer to http://www.ti.com/ww/en/wireless_connectivity/sensortag/tearDown.html. This particular reference doesn't produce an error, but also no longer provides the teardown. Your archived version does.

I came across other references while hunting for a version of the GATT table, but unfortunately I don't remember where I came across them. I only remember that some were broken and some had the same problem as the Lynda course. However, couldn't the web people look at the archived version you referred me to and use that to restore the information which was removed?

Note also that the SensorTag iTunes app (provided by TI) - which we are asked to download when we buy the sensor tag - contains 2 broken links. Under the "Make IoT Easy" tab, there is a tab for "Sensor page" and a tab for "SensorTag Wiki". Neither of these links works - the first one says that "It looks like we've encountered some resistance." The second link gives an Error 410 "Resource is no longer available." I would have hoped that if the device is still available for purchase then the "official" app that goes with it should be up to date.

If they choose not to restore the pages, shouldn't they at least update the broken links in the user guide? And in the official app? Anyway, thanks to your help I have the information I need for now.

Thanks for the feedback, I have submitted a ticket on the topic so hopefully the web team will fix the issues and hopefully make the pages more consistent.
