Hi,

Is it possible to plot a graph of log (data) received in Btool while using two 2540 usb dongles with Host Test Release.

Hi Syed,
Unfortunately, the BTool does not support any graphical plug-ins. As far as I know, you would have to create your own application on the PC side to achieve this.

Is it possible for me to send data from 2540 usb dongle to Matlab or any other software?. I want to transmit ECG using 2540 dongle as blue tooth device.Please guide me.

Hi,
Btool operates as an application on-top of the BLE-Stack operating on the dongles. You would have to write your own application that operates as an application towards the dongles. As long as you run on something that can open the serial communication (python/matlab/java ..whatever) you could simply mimic the same communication as BTool issues. You can also take a look at the device monitor application; processors.wiki.ti.com/.../BLE_Device_Monitor_User_Guide

hi,
I want to ask you one more question. Is 2540 usb dongle compatible with android?. Is it possible to connect dongle with android application and read values from dongle through android application.

Hi Syed,
No, unfortunately. You will have to implement the driver yourself, I search the web to see if anyone else has done it. However, if you already have BLE support on your android, you might as well use that instead of one of the dongles.

Hi,
I am confused regarding use of 2540 usb dongle. If 2540 dongle is not compatible with these platforms, then how we can use this dongle for sending data to and from our PC to different sensors. Is there any other which is better than 2540 dongle?

Is it possible to program 2540 usb dongle with arduino or we can just program it using IAR embedded platform?

Hi Syed,
You can flash a bootloader on it to be able to upgrade via UART. You will still need EWARM to do the initial flashing though.
