CC2640R2F: CCFG usage for user data

I've noticed that TI framework uses the CCFG section which should be normally used by the chip customer.

Is there any way that I could use at least 18 Bytes from that section for my own purpose?

Or just use different section of memory which could be protected from overwrites?

Hi Andrei,

You can not use any part of the actual CCFG section for your own purpose, you can however define your own section right next to it to store your data (and disconnect it from the "code" section).

There is multiple examples of this done in different ways. The easiest approach to creating your own section is to look at the example board files and how the NVS driver sets up the "flashBuf" array as it's own section at an absolute location in the normal FLASH space.

As for write protection, this can be set on a FLASH sector basics inside the CCFG.
