Hi,

I am testing the AOA application using 2 CC2640R2 Launchpads and a BOOSTXL-AOA installed on the receiver.

The problem i am having is that i get wrong results when both Launchpads are further than 1 meter away from each other. Is there a spesific way how both Launchpads should be facing each other, i have tested multiple positions and got different results but still not able to get good results by 2/3 Meters.

can you please help on what i could be doing wrong.

Hi Amer,

What version of the SimpleLink CC2640R2 SDK are you using? And can you post a link to the instructions you are following?

Thank you for your reply.

I am using the simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_2_30_00_28 and XDC tools version 3.50.08.24.

I have found this post https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/bluetooth/f/538/t/737944 and applied the changes mentioned and it showed much better results but the ranging/display became much slower.

can you help me on to get more results in a second.

Can you please describe your test setup?

Have you considered testing on one of the more recent SDKs such as 3.10?
