Hi everyone!

There were problems adding TRNG to the simple central.

The same problem has a solution in Project zero, but there is no such file in simple central.

How can I solve this problem?

I find it, add the code by YiKai Chen to 「simple_central.c」directly, it work fine and won't get any error.

I try it on simple_central example in SDK 3.10.00.15 and it works fine. I only need to add "#include <ti/drivers/TRNG.h>" in C file to use TRNG APIs. Try to use simple_central example in SDK 3.10.00.15 to test this again.

I think I should update my version of SDK from 2.40.0.32 to 3.10.0.15.
I tested it again in SDK 3.10.00.15, yes, it works fine without those codes.

You have to add the following codes to CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.c

But there are no "CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.c" in simple_central_cc2640r2lp_app.

It seems there is something wrong in TI TRNG driver. My solution is to add TRNGCC26XX.c/TRNGCC26XX.h into your project and revise the following line in TRNGCC26XX_construct() of TRNGCC26XX.c

if (object->isOpen || !isInitialized) {

to

if (!isInitialized) {

Then, rebuild your application to test again.

I see you don't save the revision to CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.c. Please save it and build again.

The error says TRNG_config is redeclared so I suggest you to search your project to see where it is redeclared.

There are the same declared in CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.C and TRNGCC26XX.C .

Is there something wrong here? I added the code to CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.C according to your instructions.

I have tested the same step on my side and don't see similar issue. Can you remove and reinstall SDK to test it from scratch again?

Remove and reinstall SDK then import simple_central app & library from SDK 3.10.00.15

I get errors before I add the TRNG code to simple_central.c.

On the other hand, I found that simple_central can directly call the TRNGCC26XX26XX API to get TRNG. I am still studying how it differs from the above method.

I don't do this "Adjust compiler include-paths for all build-configurations of project". And, it should be OK to directly call the TRNGCC26XX26XX API to get TRNG.

I try to select "NO" and rebuild it again, I still get the same error.

I temporarily use TRNGCC26XX26XX's API.

One day, I will test the TRNG API again.
