RTOS/CC2640R2F: sensor controller pulse counting example

dear all,

I"m working with TI RTOS and use the Simple peripheral project, 

i need to measure the frequency signal input  in DIO_28 ( 1 Mhz signal ).

1) it is possible to that by the sensor controller ?

2) if Yes, can i get an example that help me to do that?

3) if no, how can i measure the  frequency signal using the cc2640r2 peripherals?
