RTOS/CC2640R2F: Missing affiliated project cc26x2r1lp_bim_offchip after import Project_zero

Yesterday I follow the guide in simplelink docs, and import the project_zero. Every thing looks good at all. But only tow project appear in projects panel:

ble5_project_zero_cc26x2r1lp_app
ble5_project_zero_cc26x2r1lp_stack_library

I am successful to build the both project, but I missed the project BIM:

cc26x2r1lp_bim_offchip

It is a bug of CCS or my mistaken ?

My development environment :

Host: Ubuntu Linux x64 19.04
IDE: CCS 9.01
SDK: simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_3_10_00_15

Any suggest would be welcome, appreciates in advance.

I suppose you can add it manually to your workspace?

I imported the STACK and APP with Resources Explorer of CCS via online, it is a full automatic process.
I will try to import BIM manually, if you know the best way to import BIM, please let me know.

As I know, SDK 3.10.00.15 BLE5 project zero doesn't need BIM.

In the Quick Start of docs of SDK 3.10.00.15 told me if I import the project zero, three projects they will include BIM will appear.
I will try import others to test. Are there any your suggest ?

When I test SDK 3.10.00.15 BLE5 project zero, it doesn't need BIM. I don't see it support OAD in SDK 3.10.00.15 BLE5 project zero so I think that's why it doen't import BIM automatically.

Hi Robin,

There seems to be some confusion between CC2640R2 and CC26x2 devices since you say you're using simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_3_10_00_15 but importing CC26x2 projects (ble5_project_zero_cc26x2r1lp_app and ble5_project_zero_cc26x2r1lp_stack_library). What device/board are you using?

As Yikai says, BLE5-Stack Project Zero for CC2640R2 does not support OAD and does not need a BIM project. You can find instructionsfor each example project in its readme file.

My chip is CC2640R2F. I solved this issue with importing the project from the examples in SDK installation directory.
