CC2652R: How to use CC2652R-LP sniffer BLE packets?

Hello,

I download sniffer_fw.hex to CC2652RLP(rev.E). I set CC2652RLP by SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2, but wireshark don't sniffer any BLE packets. Please provide user guide.

sniffer_fw: C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments\SmartRF Tools\SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2\sniffer_fw\bin\cc26x2r1lp

Open Wireshark Help->About Wireshark and click the Plugins tab to verify that the plugins are installed first.

Hi Sir,

My wireshark have not the plugins . How install it?

copy the plugin files manually from SmartRF Packet Sniffer 2 install location (<install_dir>\wireshark\plugins\2.6.x) to Wireshark plugins folder (<wireshark_install_dir>\plugins\2.6.x\epan). Use the x86 version of plugins if you have a 32 bits installation of Wireshark or the x64 if you have a 64 bits version of Wireshark installed.

Thanks for help. It work well. How set Advertising Address filter or Access Address?

In the ‘Radio Options’ dialog and under ‘BLE Settings’, click the checkbox next to ‘Connect to Initiator Address’ and write the address of the Initiator (Master) device. If this option is not selected, the capture device will start to follow the first data connection that appears on the selected advertising channel.
