CC2652R: cc26x2 launchpad can't run simple_peripheral example code

Hey guys,

I got an out of box cc26x2 launchpad, then downloaded and imported the simple_peripheral example code from resource explorer to my local CCS, but whenever i try running the code, it always stuck at 

        BL      __TI_auto_init

like screenshot below. 

I checked to make sure that compiler version i used was TI v18.12.1.LTS, SDK version is simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_3_10_01_11, CCS version is 9.0.1

Have any thought what's going on? Or anything i should try out?
