CC2564C: Would moving from A3DP "Assisted" Source to "Non-Assisted" A2DP Source allow TI not to waste SBC audio frames and valuable BT ressources?

Part Number: CC2564C

My original question is locked here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/bluetooth/f/538/t/787696

I wanted to post a follow-up question, so I need to open this linked "Ask a related question" instead.

We are using your A3DP "Assisted" A2DP Source on CC2564C.

On my original post I mentionned that TI is wasting 1 audio frame when it chooses to carry 7 SBC audio frames (at Bitpool 51) per L2CAP packet when the baseband packet combo 2-DH5 + 2-DH3 has enough capacity for a L2CAP filled with 8 SBC audio frames.

On the original post, TI commented that it was not possible to not waste audio frame. It's very unfortunate because each time the payload is not optimizes we are wasting BT ressources and time slots that could be used to retransmit.

Can we achieve the above by moving the SBC encoding and L2CAP packing to the Host using your A2DP "Non-assisted" Source? Would it possible to force 8 SBC audio frames when not using A3DP "Assisted" Source?

Any advice to achieve the above would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance,

JiBé.
