Hello all,

i have designed PCB using CC2640R2F SMT 4*4 with 2450BM14G0011 balloon matching filtern with antenna AN043 (AN043 *2)(The PCB antenna same as used on the CC2511 USB dongle reference design)

as shown in circuit below,

i have used L network for antenna matching, if i used resistor value (R0) 0 ohm and capacitor ( C0) is kept open,

The range is measured using RF Studio and is about 4 to 5 feet if device is goes beyond this the packets get lost.

So what is the values should i use for R0 and C0, is there any calculations for antenna matching circuit please tell me?

- Are you able to do conducted measurements (see www.ti.com/.../swra603.pdf ) to verify that the antenna is the limiting factor?
- For matching, see chapter 6 in www.ti.com/.../swra161b.pdf. If you have a mismatched antenna it's not possible to suggest a matching, this has to be based on measurements.
- I assume that you have verified that the antenna has the same dimensions as in the ref design.
