Dear All,

I am using the Bluetooth module cc2640r2f. I want to sense the signal through the ADC pin. In the example program, two types are available 1) single shot mode 2) continuous mode. Both mode the ADC sampling conversion is happening in an external function.

My requirement is I have to define the ADC sampling frequency rate and based upon the sampled data I will perform some mathematical calculation for signal analyzing. In ADC buffer example program I can configure the sampling frequency but I can't access the data of microvolt variable array in the main function. I don't know where I am missing if someone has any idea please help me.

Hi Prakash,

Is your goal to simply figure out the signal strength? If If you are using BLE STACK, why not just use HCI_ReadRssiCmd in order to get RSSI value?

Hi Alexis,

I am using a sensor in my circuit. I mentioned sensor analog output as a signal, not BLE signal. The sensor output is a sinusoidal signal that I need to do measure through the ADC in CC2640R2F.

My requirement is I need to define the sampling frequency.

My sensor output is similar to this and V1,V2,..........V12 are samples with regular time interval.

Hi Prakash,

Sorry, I misunderstood your original query. Have you tried performing your mathematical calculation for signal analyzing inside the callback function?

Dear Alexis,

I have tried the ADC buffer sample program from TI resource explorer. In that Program, I can configure the sampling frequency but the ADC value in external function cant access from the main function. I worte my matematical expression in the external function instead of main function. It is satisfied my requirement but I need to send the final processed data through the bluetooth communication.

I am totally confused and I dont know where to start. First I tried project zero sample program, where I can communicate the module to mobile phone through bluetooth. now I have to introduce ADC into that program and send a processed data through bluetooth communication. I am Totally blank and I dont know what to do. Please suggest the proper flow and where to start and tell me the adavantage of sensor controller studio.

Hi Prakash,

I would recommend starting with SimpleLink Academy, as it provides labs related to using the Bluetooth Low Energy stack (BLE-Stack). I recommend starting with the "Fundamentals" lab for a jump directly into Bluetooth® low energy and then progressing down the list of labs.
