RTOS/CC2640R2F: How to set-up on chip OAD for multi-role project?

Hi,

I am currently working on setting up the on-chip OAD for a project built on the basis of multi-role SDK example (SDK: 2.40.32). I have read through the "Over the Air Download(OAD)" Docs by TI and pretty much lost as to where to start from or what to include in the project. I decided to follow the instructions in "Out of the Box Demo(On-Chip OAD)" and imported the "bim_oad_onchip" from the sdk but couldn't find the "oad_target_cc2640r2lp_stack" and "oad_target_cc2640r2lp_app". Now, I just need some guidance to start with on how to set up my current multi-role project as a target device?

Please suggest the steps correlating to the Docs or insights on how to get started with this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think there is enough flash on CC2640R2F for multi-role on-chip OAD. I would suggest you to consider using CC2642R.

Hi,

Can we use the off-chip ODA instead? I am currently looking into this solution.

We have the cc2640r2f chip on our custom hardware and too late to change to CC2640R now.

Yes, you can use off-chip OAD instead of on-chip OAD.
