LAUNCHXL-CC2650: How to start developing a BLE beacon that interfaces with an i2c enabled sensor??

Hello,

I am using CC2650 launchpad to interface it with some environmental sensor via i2c.

The launchpad should act as a BLE beacon and advertize with sensor data every few minutes and otherwise it should be in deep sleep mode.

How should I start my development? I am totally new to RTOS based 32 bit MCU platform and BLE.

I am using BLE SDK 2.2.2 with CCS 7.4.0.15.

Try to refer to I2C tmp007 example at and porting it into your BLE BEACON application accordingly.

CC2650 is not a part of the latest simplelink family. There are an old separate simplelink academy that works for CC2650:
