CCS/LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: Breakpoints and Greyed out Pause / Start Debug

Hi,

The problem you are describing seems to be one of these two:

-          You have not chosen the right parameters to set up your CCS project (i.e. you have selected a project not compatible with the device/Launchpad you have)

-          You are using a CC26X2R1 with a revision number that is not anymore usable

Can you please verify the following for me?

-          What is the name of your project? (assuming you have not renamed it)

-          What is the name of your Launchpad? What is his revision number?

-          What is print on the device?

Note: you cannot use the CC26X2R1 devices with a revision number before F (i.e. the CC26X2R1 Launchpads with a revision number before ‘B’).

The launchpad and the device seem to be ok.

Give me the full name of your project please (something like empty_CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs)

3. I'm not sure what you mean by [what it is print on the device]: I was referring on waht it is print on the CC26X2 device (the black beast at the center of the launchpad)

And congrats you guessed the project name - I wasn't sure how to make a copy of the empty file so the file name is: empty_CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs [Active - Debug]

I think my clarification was not clear enough ^^ You gave me the reference of the XDS Debbuger :)

You can have a look to the following picture to find the MCU on your launchpad (http://dev.ti.com/tirex/content/tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_20_00_06/resources/cc1350LaunchPad/project0/images/cc1350_launchpad_explained.PNG). This picture shows a CC1350 launchpad but all the launchpad are very similar.

Ahh sorry about that, I had the BOOSTXL-ULPSENSE on top of the board and it was covering that guy.

Can you give me your SDK version please? You can find it through CCS in the Project Dependencies or directly check which SDK you have installed.

(should be something like 3_10_00_12)

Thanks for trying to walk me through it - I am super new to CCS. I'll attach a few photos of what I see, tell me if you need something more specific. I'm pretty sure my version is 2_30...
