CC2564: SPPLE and Scan for LE Advertisements at the same time

Hello,

is ist possible to have an SPPLE connection up and scan at the same time for undirected Advertisements?

I will be using my cc2564 together with an MCU as BLE central, so it would be nice, to have both fucntions running at he same time. In the Wiki i joust found, that its possible to run SPP + SPPLE simultaneously.

I would keep the cc2564 as central device, so i can read the undirected beacon Advertisements and listen for a phone and connect to it. Once conected, can i still listen to the beacons data packets?

Tobias,

Are you using the CC2564C or the older CC2564 / CC2564B?

This use-case is possible with the CC2564C but not with the older versions.

Currently im evaluating with the boost cc2564moda.

Since i read the wiki, if i keep the cc2564 as the central device, it should run :

Two SPPLE Connections

a) In This version, we test two simultaneous SPPLE connections to the MSP430. The remote devices are used as a peripheral device while the MSP430 acts as the central device.

This is for the cc2564, so could it work? Since the beacon is a peripheral device and i can set a phone beeing a peripheral device, too.

The CC2564MODA module is based on the CC2564BIC.

Yes, this could work with CC2564B / CC2564MODA.
